The hum of quiet conversations, the occasional crackle of a television in the background, and the friendly greetings from the kitchen create a space that feels as much like a second home as it does a local treasure.

This spot is all about connection—the kind that happens over a plate of food prepared with care and familiar flavors that carry stories from far away. The menu reads like a map of Honduran heritage, with dishes that celebrate rich, homey textures and tastes. Whether it’s the tender, flavorful chicken that’s often savored with simple sides or a bowl of horchata that strikes a delicate balance between sweet and refreshing, the offerings coax out moments of comfort and discovery in every bite and sip.

What makes Tradición Hondureña Pollos Yihre #1 stand out is its unpolished charm paired with a genuine attentiveness in service. The food is solid and the horchata was excellent, although very expensive. The portion sizes were nice and well worth the price paid.

This hole-in-the-wall is the best Honduran Restaurant in Miami. We tried the breakfast, coffee, Nancy juice, pollo chuco, took a couple of bailadas and some semitas. We loved every bit of it. Maybe we were just hungry.

The best of the best!!! I don’t come here often because it’s a bit far from where I live . But trust me it’s worth the drive. The pollo Chuco is amazing. We also order atol de elote which was also one of the best! The service is outstanding and super friendly ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Loved it!! Food was on point, fresh and hot. Simple menu but tons of flavor. The horchata was good but reminded me of a peanut butter cup. All in all, you should stop by if you're in the area. Give me some Pollo Chuco anytime! **Small note owner or worker had tv on, and it was tuned in on a televangelist that was shouting a sermon the entire time**

The food is absolutely delicious!! The service was incredible, everyone was super nice and attentive. This was our first time coming and we will definitely be coming back. Super happy with everything! Definitely recommend the pollo chuco and the popusas with chicharrón, queso y fijoles!

Great food and great service. The food is the next best thing to the roots of Honduran culture in America. Idania our waitress, as well as the other employees, have such great character and customer service. Highly recommend the baleadas and the pollo Chuco, exceptional taste you won’t find anywhere else in the area !
